Einmal im Monat ist treffen bei mir im Atelier, wir nennen uns „Gary and the Piecemakers“ Namensgebung Rainer Benk.
Jede malt für sich, manchmal aber auch das gleiche Thema. Wir haben eine Menge Spaß beim Malen, Gedanken- und Erfahrungsaustausch, einander auf dem Arm nehmen und Fachsimpeln.
Rainer hat mir bei unserem letzten Treffen Fotos mitgebracht, die mich inspiriert haben, dieses Bild zu malen.

We meet in my studio once a month, we call ourselves “Gary and the Piecemakers” the name from the group was given by Rainer Benk, a fellow painter.
Everyone paints individually, but sometimes the same subject. We have a lot of fun painting, exchanging ideas and experiences, holding each other and talking shop.
At our last meeting, Rainer brought some photos that inspired me to paint this picture.
