Die Inspiration für dieses Bild war ein selbst aufgenommenes Foto vom Dümmersee.
Ich wollte die besondere Stimmung eines Tages einfangen, an dem sich Wind, Licht und Wetter ständig verändert haben.
Vor allem hat mich beeindruckt, wie die Windsurfer trotz der kräftigen Böen, der sehr kühlen Luft und des Wassers scheinbar mühelos über das Wasser glitten.

The inspiration for this painting was a photo I took myself of Lake Dümmer.
I wanted to capture the special atmosphere of a day when the wind, light, and weather were constantly changing.
I was particularly impressed by how the windsurfers glided seemingly effortlessly across the water despite the strong gusts, the very cool air, and the cold water.
