Dieses Gemaelde entstand nach einem Foto, das ich im Maerz am Duemmersee aufgenommen habe. Der markante Uhrenturm und die von der Fruehlingssonne erleuchtete Weide zogen sofort meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Mich faszinierte das Zusammenspiel von Licht, Wasser und der erwachenden Natur.
Beim Malen ging es mir nicht um eine exakte Wiedergabe der Fotovorlage, sondern darum, die ruhige Atmosphaere und die besondere Stimmung dieses Augenblicks festzuhalten. Die leuchtenden Farben der Weide, die Spiegelungen im Wasser und der Uhrenturm als ruhender Mittelpunkt verleihen dem Bild Harmonie und Tiefe. So ist meine persoenliche Interpretation eines stillen Fruehlingstages am Duemmersee entstanden – ein Ort, an dem Natur, Licht und Architektur zu einem stimmungsvollen Gesamtbild verschmelzen.

I painted this picture based on a photo I took at Lake Duemmer in March. The striking clock tower and the willow tree bathed in the spring sunshine immediately caught my attention. I was fascinated by the interplay of light, water, and nature coming to life.
My goal in painting this was not to create an exact reproduction of the photograph, but rather to capture the serene atmosphere and the special mood of that moment. The vibrant colors of the willow, the reflections in the water, and the clock tower as a serene focal point lend the painting harmony and depth. This is how my personal interpretation of a quiet spring day at Lake Dümmer came to be—a place where nature, light, and architecture blend into an evocative whole.
